Amy

AMY

You in 4 words
Energetic. Positive. Passionate. Determined

Your specialism
Kettlebells, HIIT, weight training, body weight strength training and swimming

What makes you love exercise so much
I love that it’s my time, I can put on some music and totally switch off. The best feeling is setting a goal, pushing yourself and after working hard seeing results.

Whats your favourite exercise and why
The Burpee- it’s such an adaptable exercise. It’s easy to scale and also to make harder… add a press-up, tuck jump, or even over an object.            It will make you sweat, raise your heart rate and strengthen too!

Have you ever met anyone famous
DJ Luck and MC Neat. Old school garage is my favourite to listen to working out!

Whats your favourite holiday destination
I’ve worked in travel for 7 years so I’ve been very fortunate to travel around the world making it very difficult to choose! I love Indonesia- the food, culture, scenery, adventure, diving, beaches and yoga. It has it all.

Where do you shop for exercise gear
Active in Style. They have so many great brands in there. I love Lorna Jane and Lilybod.

What’s your wardrobe essential
A good pair of printed leggings- sculpting, supportive and fun!

Who do you follow on Instagram
A lot of dogs. Fitness wise… SaraSigmunds, HipandHealthy, Carlyrowena, Stef_fit

When you’re not exercising what do you like to do most
Climb (that probably counts as exercise), travel, scuba dive and eat!

What would your advice be to anyone who wants to feel good about themselves
Don’t compare yourself to anyone. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses. Only compare yourself to where you are and where you are going.

Whats the best advice anyone ever gave you
Balance is the key to everything. What we do, think, say, eat, feel, they all require awareness and through this awareness we grow.

Joining a Bootcamp – The Health Benefits

Ahead of the launch of FitnessBells Outdoor Bootcamps at the start of October (which we’re super excited about!), we thought we’d tell you a little bit more about why we love training in groups. Let's ... View Post
