Post Natal Restorative Exercise

Now you’re probably visiting us here to see how to we can get your body back to what it once was, perhaps get it to an even happier place than before… If you just want to lose the pooch or get yourself back to the gym or simply feel more connected to your body, our team can get your there.

You probably don’t quite appreciate what your body has been through, but you know you feel tired, having sleepless nights and just really want to get back to being yourself.

We work closely with our post pregnancy mothers who have had c-sections, abdominal separation and other post natal changes. We focus on posture and alignment. We build from the inside out, reconnecting the abdominal tissue, the core global unit before we add load. Before we begin any high intensity workouts we need to build the foundations. This for many women can be frustrating. If you’re used to high intensity workouts or endurance sports be patient and allow your body to adjust.

Firstly we focus on breathing and connecting your mind with your body, building body awareness. We strengthen pelvic floor and inner core muscles using methods that are sustainable and go deeper than Kegels. Its important we work in this way, to avoid any setbacks or even slow down the restorative process through high impact exercise. One step at a time and you’ll see the fruits of your labour.

We will take you through the journey from post natal and bring you back to the fitness levels and self esteem you were used to before baby. Like with anything you do, the work you put in will reflect the results and you’ll be bouncing with energy, even with sleepless nights!

Obviously being a new Mum challenges your free time. We can work around your time constraints and family commitments, visiting you in your home or in a park nearby.
